Reasonable Suspicion Awareness for Supervisors Training Certification - $150 per person (2 hours, DOT compliant)

  • For all DOT-regulated companies (excluding owner-operators).

This course is required for supervisors of safety-sensitive employees under DOT regulations. Every company must have at least one certified supervisor trained in Reasonable Suspicion Awareness. This is also mandated by MPI for fleet insurance. Substance abuse in the workplace costs employers approximately $10,000 annually due to absenteeism, accidents, and health-related expenses. This course equips supervisors with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize and handle substance abuse issues in the workplace while adhering to Federal Regulations (49 CFR Part 40).

Designated Employee Representative (DER) Training Certification - $140 per person (1.5 hours, DOT compliant)

  • For all DOT-regulated companies.

This course is designed for the Designated Employer Representative (DER) or Drug and Alcohol Program Manager (DAPM) responsible for administering a company's substance abuse testing program. The DER must fully understand the responsibilities and decisions required under the Federal Regulations (49 CFR Part 40) and have the authority to manage the testing process. This course ensures a complete understanding of these duties.

Post-Accident Training Certification - $75 per person (1 hour, DOT compliant)

  • For all DOT Designated Employer Representatives (DERs).

This course provides designated employer representatives with the necessary knowledge to manage post-accident drug testing according to FMCSA regulations (49 CFR Part 382.303). It covers the rules and requirements for testing after an accident, clarifying when testing is mandated and who is subject to testing.

Substance Abuse in the Workplace Training Certification - $150 per person (3 hours)

  • Recommended for all companies that enforce a drug-free workplace.

This certification program is designed to help both employers and employees create and maintain a safe, drug-free work environment. The course covers the effects of alcohol and drug abuse, including the misuse of prescription drugs. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of substance abuse among employees.

Workplace Drug and Alcohol Policy Development - $149 per person

  • For all DOT-regulated companies (strongly recommended for non-DOT companies as well).

The FMCSA requires all employers to develop and maintain a written policy regarding controlled substance use and alcohol misuse in the workplace. This course guides you through the development of the required policy, including essential elements like Policy Statements and Communication, and ensuring it remains up-to-date with any regulatory changes.
